L&D Manager needed for leading International Insurance Firm located in NYC. 
Lead talent development and learning solutions, support employee strategy to embed business skills, management accountability and create a high performance culture throughout the organization.
  • Design and lead the development of the HR Learning and Development strategy company wide. 
  • Improve business performance, direct development initiatives in regards to talent development, leadership development and performance management.
  • Design of initiatives that will change culture and business results for organizational change. 
  • Implementation of a competency framework to support the career excellence model
  • Achievement of business objectives and increased technical and management capabilities
  • Development plan and outcomes are implemented and achieved
  • Provide direction regarding the use of HRIS systems and increase efficiency
  • Manage the training expense budget and allocation
  • Manage quality review and reporting process to determine trends and areas for improvement

Systems thinking, leadership, coaching, facilitation, mediation, negotiation, project management, motivation, problem-solving and training. Demonstrated ability to drive tinitiatives to successful completion 
Enthusiastic, team-player and strong collaborator with proven success at influencing at all levels
Strong business acumen - experience working in the business at the executive level
Works well in a matrix environment. 
Great communicator including good oral and written presentation skills
Willingness to challenge the status-quo and develop and recommend viable alternative solutions
Have a proven reputation as an HR professional who acts with the utmost integrity and who has consistently demonstrated exemplary personal judgment
qualification
15+ years in a combination of business leadership and learning and developement roles
Masters degree or equivalent experience
